Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (2 c.)
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix flour, soda and salt.
    Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until blended.
    Mix with flour mixture, chocolate and nuts.
    Shape into 2-inch balls and place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 23 minutes. Yields 21 (4-inch) cookies.
