Southern Red Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sliced Rogerwood smoked sausage (can use less sausage, if desired)
    4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 c. long grain rice, uncooked
    2 c. tomato juice or canned tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown sliced Rogerwood smoked sausage in bacon drippings. Combine with remaining ingredients. Crumble fried bacon into ingredients.
    Mix well. Place in casserole dish. Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for one hour.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
