Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. peanut butter
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except peanut butter.
    Cook to soft ball stage.
    The mixture will take on a yellowish look in about 5 minutes.
    This should be the soft ball stage.
    Remove from stove and beat in 4 tablespoons of peanut butter.
    Beat by hand until smooth.
    Pour into buttered pan to harden.
    Cut into squares.
