"Strasbourg" Wurst Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pinch of salt
    pinch of sugar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    3 to 4 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/4 lb. bologna, cut into thin strips
    1/2 lb. Swiss cheese or mild Cheddar, cut into thin strips
    1 medium onion, quartered and thinly sliced
    coarsely ground black pepper
Preparation
    Combine the salt, sugar and vinegar; pour in the oil and whisk vigorously to make a smooth dressing.
    Add the bologna and cheese, plus the onion and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with the ground pepper.
    Makes 4 servings.
