Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. light molasses
1 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Mix eggs, molasses, sugar and oil.
Dissolve 2 teaspoons soda in 2 teaspoons hot water.
Add to egg mixture and mix well.
Add spices.
Add flour and beat well.
Add boiling water a little at a time, beating lightly.
Bake in ungreased 9 x 13-inch dish at 300\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until done.
Check with toothpick.
Serve with whipped cream or lemon sauce.
