Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan and brown slightly.
    Add brown sugar and flour and stir until blended.
    Add milk and slightly beaten egg yolks.
    Cook over direct heat until mixture thickens.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Pour into baked shell and top with meringue.
