Ratatouille - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
2 large cloves garlic, minced
6 medium zucchini, thickly sliced
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. crushed oregano
1 to 2 bay leaves
1 large can tomatoes
flour to thicken
Preparation

In small amount of oil, stir-fry onion, garlic and zucchini about 3 minutes. Add seasonings. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until just tender.
Add tomatoes and bay leaves.
Cover and cook over moderate heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add flour to thicken and more salt, if required. Remove bay leaves before serving.
Serve it cold or hot as a meat accompaniment. Serves 8 to 10.
