Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 chicken breasts
4 chicken legs
1/2 c. cooking oil
3 medium onions, sliced
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. celery seed
3 tsp. oregano
Preparation

Brown the chicken in hot oil.
As the chicken browns, remove it to a large saucepan.
Place the onions and garlic in oil and cook until golden.
Remove and add to chicken.
Drain the oil. Use the same skillet to mix the other ingredients.
Pour over the chicken.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Uncover and cook for another 30 minutes.
Turn occasionally.
Cool and refrigerate.
