Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla extract
16 oz. shredded coconut
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add flour, vanilla and coconut.
Mix well.
Press dough into pan and chill overnight.
Slice and bake at 325\u00b0 in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown.
