Ingredients

2 soft sticks butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3 c. flour (take 1/2 c. out to save)
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

In bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg.
Add flour and salt.
Mix well and chill for 1 hour or longer.
Use wax paper on table and additional flour to knead parts of dough that you are using to roll out.
Use cookie cutters.
Bake 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.
