Jeane Ann'S Cinnamon, Caramel Or Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. oleo
    3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water (110\u00b0).
    Combine scalded milk, sugar, shortening and salt; cool to lukewarm.
    Add 1/2 cup of flour; beat well.
    Beat in egg and yeast.
    Gradually add remaining flour to form soft dough, beating well.
    Knead; place in greased bowl.
    Cover; let rise until double, or refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 5 days.
    Turn out on lightly floured surface.
