Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in cornstarch and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla at high speed until stiff,
    but not dry. Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes.
