Chinese Sweet And Sour Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. oil
    3 green peppers, diced
    1 1/4 c. beef broth
    1 1/2 c. pineapple chunks
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together beef, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.
    Shape into 24 balls.
    Make batter of eggs, flour and remaining teaspoon of salt. Dip meat balls in batter.
    Heat oil in a skillet and brown meat balls over low heat.
    Remove meat balls from skillet.
    Pour off all but 2 tablespoons oil.
    Add green peppers, broth and pineapple.
    Cook over low heat 10 minutes.
    Mix together cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar.
    Stir into skillet ingredients and cook until thickened.
    Return meat balls and reheat 5 minutes over low flame.
    Serves 6.
