Cheese Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. wet or dry mustard
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    mayonnaise
    French bread loaf
Preparation
    Brown bacon until crisp and crumble.
    Mix onion, mustard, Cheddar cheese and enough mayonnaise to make spreading consistency.
    Cut French bread into 1/2-inch thick slices.
    Spread mixture on slices and cut into 9 squares per slice.
    Place squares on cookie sheet and place under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly.
