Steamed Cranberry Holiday Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cranberries (frozen)
    3/4 c. raisins
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. light molasses
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Cut cranberries in half.
    Rinse cranberries and raisins; drain well in colander.
    Place in mixing bowl.
    Sift flour and soda over fruit.
    Add molasses and water; stir batter until smooth.
    Turn into a 2-quart greased and lightly sugared pudding mold.
    Cover with lid or aluminum foil and place on trivet in deep kettle.
    Add enough boiling water to come halfway up the sides of mold.\tSteam, covered, 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool to lukewarm and turn out on cookie tray.
    Serve with warm sauce.
