Gingerbread Delights - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg and molasses; beat well.
    Add dry ingredients; mix well.
    Refrigerate 6 hours or more.
    Roll on floured surface 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut in desired shapes.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet about 9 or 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. Remove, cool and decorate.
