Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk (approximately)
    4 Tbsp. butter (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder into mixing bowl.
    Cut in shortening, using 2 knives, a pastry cutter or your hands dusted with flour.
    Add sufficient buttermilk to make a soft dough.
