Mrs. Jessie'S Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. onion
    1/4 stick oleo
    16 oz. pkg. broccoli and amount of water on directions
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken
    2 cans evaporated milk
    1 can water
    1/2 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    8 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Bring broccoli to boil and cook according to directions on package.
    Cook first 2 ingredients until onion is tender; add to broccoli.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook until cheese is melted and soup is hot, stirring constantly.
