Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    2 c. chopped sour apples
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add buttermilk and soda.
    Add eggs, vanilla, salt and flour.
    Beat well.
    Fold in apples and nuts.
    Put in greased bread pan.
    Top with 2 tablespoons each of the oleo, sugar and flour plus 1 teaspoon cinnamon crumbled together.
    Press in slightly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
    Serve warm or cold.
