Lemon Taffy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. margarine to butter pan
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Boil sugar with vinegar and water until spoonful dropped in water hardens.
    Remove from heat.
    Don't stir for it makes it go to sugar.
    Add lemon extract.
    Pour into buttered pan until it is ready to pull.
    Pulling will mix flavoring enough.
