Danish Abelskivers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. margarine or butter
2 c. buttermilk
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites, beaten until foamy
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients but the egg whites; mix well.
Fold egg whites into the batter.
Heat Abelskivers pan until a drop of water will sizzle in it.
Put 1/2 teaspoon melted butter in each cup.
Fill each compartment 1/2 full.
Cook until lightly brown.
Turn dough once and cook other side.
Serve with maple syrup, butter, powdered sugar or jelly.
