Meatballs Gingerly Spiced - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 onion, chopped fine
    salt and pepper
    1 1/3 c. ketchup
    1 bottle (16 oz.) ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Form into 30 meatballs.
    In large saucepan combine ketchup and soda.
    Heat to boiling and add raw meatballs.
    Simmer 45 minutes, uncovered, until meat is cooked and sauce is thickened.
    Serve over hot buttered rice or noodles.
