Cucumber Salad Dressing Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 large cucumbers, peeled
12 onions
1 qt. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1/2 c. flour
1 (2 oz.) jar pimento, drained and chopped
salt
3 c. sugar
Preparation

Peel and slice cucumbers.
Let stand overnight in brine made with 1/2 cup salt to 3 quarts water.
Next day, slice thin or chop onions.
Mix sugar and spices with flour and vinegar.
Add drained cucumbers, onions and pimento.
Cook, uncovered.
Turn down heat, stir and cook 10 minutes.
Seal in jars.
