Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes, cook and strain like juice
    2 c. Crisco oil
    3 lb. onions, ground
    5 hot peppers, ground
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 Tbsp. basil
    2 Tbsp. oregano
    8 small cans tomato paste or 4 large ones
Preparation
    After you make your tomato juice (makes about 8 quarts), mix everything together and heat to a boil and let simmer 1 hour.
    Seal in jars.
    Makes about 11 to 12 quarts.
