Ingredients

2 c. milk
2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
4 bananas
Preparation

Scald milk.
Beat eggs and combine with cornstarch, sugar and salt.
In a double boiler, pour milk over cornstarch mixture; cook approximately 6 minutes or until thick.
Arrange alternate layers of wafers and bananas in bowl and pour custard over these.
Eat warm or cool.
