Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried red beans
    3 c. water
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 rib celery, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Cook beans in salted water or in water with bacon drippings, ham bone or salt pork.
    Add onion, garlic, celery, pepper and bay leaf and continue cooking until done, about 3 hours.
    Place dry rice on plate and top with beans which should be fairly soupy. Serves 4.
