Mareta'S Festive Baba - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. grenadine
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. dark or light rum
    2 Tbsp. pureed apricot preserves
    bits of candied fruit
    whipping cream
Preparation
    Grease and flour 9-inch ring mold generously.
    Make cake mix according to package directions.
    Fill pan half full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes; unmold while hot.
    While the cake is baking, mix grenadine, water and rum.
    Heat and dribble slowly and evenly over hot cake.
    Puree and heat apricot preserves; spread over cake.
    Sprinkle with finely chopped candied fruit.
    Serve with whipped cream.
