Deep Dish Fudge Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
    3/4 c. hot water
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 deep dish pie crust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and add cocoa and hot water and stir until dissolved.
    With wire whisk, blend in sugar, flour, salt, evaporated milk and vanilla.
    Blend until smooth.
    Mix in pecans and pour into crust.
    Bake 50 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Check pie by inserted knife which should come out clean.
    Pie is best when served with whipped topping.
