Comfort Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
2 egg whites (to measure no less than 1/3 c.)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. coconut flavoring (optional)

Preparation

In saucepan, combine sugar, water and corn syrup.
Cover and boil 3 minutes without stirring.
Uncover.
Do not stir and continue boiling until syrup spins a 6 to 8-inch thread or reaches 242\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
