Sweet And Sour Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots
    1 medium green pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks in own juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Cook carrots until tender (about 15 minutes).
    Add green pepper (cut in strips).
    Cook 3 minutes more.
    Drain well.
    Drain juice from pineapple and add enough water to it to make 1/3 cup liquid.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Stir into pineapple juice.
    Add vinegar and soy sauce.
    Cook until it boils.
    Add carrots, green pepper and pineapple.
