Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff but not dry
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook the first 4 ingredients until hard ball stage, 250\u00b0 on thermometer.
    Slowly pour onto the stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Keep beating until set and add the vanilla.
    Spoon onto waxed paper to make individual pieces of candy.
