Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 heads lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1 bunch broccoli, broken into flowerets (3 large stalks)
1 head cauliflower
onions, sliced into rings (use sweet mild onions)
2 c. mayonnaise, spread evenly
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
5 Tbsp. sugar, sprinkle evenly over top
Preparation

Layer salad in order given.
Cover and chill overnight.
Toss well just before serving.
