Mexican Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda, added to milk
    1 c. yellow cream-style corn
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomato and jalapeno peppers
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cheese.
    Pour half of mix into greased skillet.
    Sprinkle half of the cheese over batter; add remaining batter and sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
