Mexican Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. chicken
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese (Mexican)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 soup cans water
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 jars salsa, hot or mild
    1 bag tortilla chips
    1 small jar mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Cook chicken; debone and drain.
    In another pan, cook combined soups, water, onion and mushrooms; bring to a simmer.
    Add salsa and Velveeta.
    When cheese is melted, add chicken.
    To serve, pour chicken mixture over crushed tortillas.
