Marinated Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. (2 medium) thinly sliced cucumbers
    1 medium red or green pepper, cut in thin strips
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    In a large bowl combine cucumbers, peppers and onions.
    In a small bowl combine sugar, salt, celery seed, mustard seed and vinegar; blend well.
    Pour over cucumber mixture; toss to coat well.
    Cover; refrigerate for at least 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
    If desired, drain before serving.
    Makes 3 cups.
