Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Sift
    together
    flour, salt and soda; set aside.
    Thoroughly cream the shortening, butter and brown sugar.
    Add the eggs
    and blend well.
    Gradually add the flour mixture to the shortening and
    mix
    thoroughly.
    Add
    the
    pecans and mix in well.
    Drop onto a baking sheet by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
    Bake at
    350\u00b0
    for
    12
    to 15 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
