Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 tsp. minced garlic (1 clove)
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna, cooked al dente
    1 (24 oz.) carton large curd cottage cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    12 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, brown ground beef; drain.
    Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Combine cottage cheese, eggs, pepper, parsley flakes and Parmesan cheese.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of the tomato sauce in the bottom of pan. Place a layer of noodles in dish; spread 1/2 the cottage cheese mixture over noodles.
    Layer with 1/2 the Mozzarella; top with 1/2 the sauce mixture.
    Repeat process, topping with noodles and covering with sauce.
    Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
    Freezes (before baking) well.
