Tortilla Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 flour tortillas
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1 can whole tomatoes, drained
    1/2 tsp. ground oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Cut tortillas into thin strips.
    Heat oil in 10-inch skillet until hot.
    Cook tortillas and onions, turning occasionally until tortillas are crisp, about 10 minutes.
    Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle with cheese; heat just until cheese is melted.
    Serve with sour cream.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
