Symphony Bars(Yields 32 Bars) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. chopped pecans
    2 oz. (4 Tbsp.) melted baking chocolate
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together flour and salt.
    Gradually add to cream mixture.
    Blend in nuts.
    Divide dough in half.
    Add chocolate to one-half and spread white layer in bottom of pan, then spread chocolate layer on top. Bake 30 minutes.
    Cool in pan on wire rack.
