Cheesy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. milk
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 oz. can whole green chilies, seeded and chopped
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Microwave potatoes on High, 8 to 12 minutes.
    Peel and slice. Melt butter; whisk in flour and add milk gradually.
    Microwave on High 6 minutes.
    Stir every 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
    Add cheese, chilies and garlic powder.
    Mix sauce with potatoes.
    Top with bread crumbs.
    Cover and microwave on High 7 minutes.
