Pork Chops, Bavarian Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 slices bacon (optional)
    1 large c. sauerkraut
    4 to 6 pork chops
    1 to 2 onions, sliced into rings
    2 to 3 potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    caraway seed
Preparation
    Cover bottom of dish with bacon.
    Top bacon with sauerkraut, about 1-inch layer.
    Lay chops close together on top of sauerkraut and top the chops with a layer of onion.
    Next, a layer of potatoes.
    Cover with mashed tomatoes.
    Season with pepper and sprinkle of caraway seed.
    Cover and bake about 2 hours at 350\u00b0.
