Currant Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. mashed currants
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. flour
2 egg yolks
pinch of salt
Preparation

Mix all well and cook over medium heat until thick.
Add to baked 8-inch
pie shell.
Top with beaten 2 egg whites, 4 tablespoons sugar, pinch of salt and 1/2 tablespoon vanilla.
