Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

6 medium size potatoes
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
butter
paprika
Preparation

Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
Chill, then peel and grate.
Combine cheese, milk and butter in small saucepan.
Cook over low heat until butter and cheese melt. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. Fold cheese mixture into potatoes.
Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
Dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serves 6.
