Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large eggs, well beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together the eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk and vanilla. Pour into deep 10-inch pastry-lined pie pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Lower heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 35 minutes more.
Test with knife blade in center.
If it comes out clean, pie is done.
