Tomato Salad With Mint And Spring Onions(Tamatar Salat) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 firm red tomatoes
6 spring onions
1/2 c. fresh mint leaves
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder (optional)
Preparation

Peel tomatoes and cut into thin wedges.
Finely slice spring onions and chop mint leaves.
Mix lemon juice, salt, sugar and chili powder together.
Stir until sugar dissolves, then pour over the combined ingredients and mix lightly, but thoroughly.
Cover and chill until serving time.
