Caramel Layered Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. light caramels
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Set aside. Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, butter and nuts.
    Stir by hand until mixture holds together.
    Put 1/2 of this into well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
