Mom'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 marshmallows
    1/4 c. water
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 stick oleo
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or mint chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt marshmallows and water in double boiler.
    Mix sugar, milk, oleo, salt and vanilla and bring to boil.
    Boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Blend in marshmallow mixture and nuts. Pour into 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.
