Orange Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. orange jello
    1 (12 oz.) container whipped topping
    2 c. buttermilk
    nuts, coconut or mandarin oranges (optional)
Preparation
    Bring pineapple with juice to a boil.
    Add jello and mix.
    Let cool to room temperature.
    Add whipped topping and buttermilk. Whisk until blended.
    Pour into 9 x 12-inch container.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Slice and serve on lettuce leaf.
