Ten Minute Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. lite Karo
    1 3/4 to 2 c. roasted peanuts
    1 Tbsp. oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and Karo in a 2-quart measuring bowl.
    Cook in microwave oven on High for 5 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Cook 2 to 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until syrup and peanuts are lightly browned.
    Stir in oleo, vanilla and baking soda until light and foamy.
    Spread to desired thickness on a lightly buttered cookie sheet.
