Rocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 scant c. butter
    4 c. flour
    1/2 c. syrup
    1 1/2 c. nuts
    1 lb. raisins
    1 level tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Sift flour with soda, pinch of salt, cloves, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, and beat after each addition.
    Add syrup and then stir in flour.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Drop by level teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake in 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
